Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Bombo. By using the app, you agree to them. We have kept them short and readable.

The service

Bombo is an English accent-training app that gives you pronunciation feedback and practice. It is provided on an as-is basis and is meant for learning. It is not a guarantee of any specific result.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bombo. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use it.

Your account

• You are responsible for the activity on your account.
• Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.

Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

• Bombo offers auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly). A free daily lesson is available without a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Cheat, manipulate scores, or abuse referrals with multiple accounts.
• Use bots or automation, or disrupt the service for other people.

Violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

Content and intellectual property

• All Bombo content, including lessons, voices, illustrations, and the Bombo character and logo, is owned by us and protected by law. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.
• Your recordings are yours. We do not claim or use them.
• If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the app.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

• Bombo is provided on an as-is basis without warranties. We do not guarantee fluency or any specific outcome, and the app is not medical or professional advice.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app where appropriate. Continuing to use Bombo means you accept the updated terms.
